Amongst all the other reasons for enjoying being an Independent Developer, two which stand out for me are that I am able to produce Apps that I really care about, and that the freedom means I can support people (and often causes) by using my time and resources to help out.
Yesterday was an amazing, and exciting day. As mentioned in the earlier blog, one of the Athlete's we support is Georgina 'Gorgs' Geikie who is currently taking part in the Commonwealth Games.
The first competition Gorgs took part in was the 25 metre Sports pistol Pairs, an event which involves both precision, and rapid fire.
Gorgs was teamed up with Julia Lydall, and they shot amazingly well, coming third and becoming Commonwealth Bronze medallists.
The excitement continues over the next 2 weeks, with a further 3 competitions for Gorgs, 25 Metre Individual Pistol, 10 Metre Air Pistol Pairs, and 10 Metre Air Pistol individual.
